Beginning in 1973 with the sale of welding wires and spooling machines for welding wires, IGS Italia quickly moved into the industrial gas applications field, initially only with development and production of small- and medium-sized oxygen generators, but later added nitrogen generators. Italfilo's generators offer a high level of technology at competitive pricing, which make them a strong alternative to conventional gas supply modes.

IGS Italia has its own product development and manufacturing facility located in Grosseto, Italy, where it has delivered thousands of systems to customers all over the world.
