Generon IGS to Attend FABTECH Tradeshow - North America's Largest Metal Forming, Fabricating, Finishing and Welding Event The Global Technology Company to Present Cost Savings Model For Onsite Nitrogen Generation

Generon IGS, a division of Innovative Gas Systems (IGS) and a global technology company specializing in systems that produce industrial gases; nitrogen, oxygen and process gas separations, will present the cost savings benefit of onsite nitrogen generation and display the Compact PSA at the upcoming FABTECH Tradeshow in Chicago.
The company, which operates two manufacturing facilities in the United States - Pittsburg, California and Houston, Texas - will attend the show November 14-17, 2011.
North America's largest metal forming, fabricating, finishing and welding event, FABTECH provides an important information sharing opportunity to technology companies and related industries.
According to Generon IGS President Tom Jeffers, the company - which specializes in nitrogen membrane systems, pressure swing absorption nitrogen and nitrogen separation processes, oxygen generators and gas compression, wants to show the industry how generating nitrogen on site, can save them money.
"Our nitrogen pressure swing adsorption units generate high-purity gaseous nitrogen that is needed in applications like laser cutting and heat treating. Our Compact PSA design has minimal installation because the air and nitrogen buffer tanks are included on the skid," said Jeffers
"In addition to our PSA nitrogen systems, we also offer membrane technology available to accommodate applications that require lower nitrogen purities," added Jeffers.
The company plans to demonstrate that by generating nitrogen on site, companies eliminate the purchase of expensive gases, the evaporation loses, truck and fork lift traffic in the plant, and the handling of high pressure bottles, dewars and cryogenic fluids - while saving the metal forming, fabricating and finishing industries between 50 to 200% a year.
