GENERON® IGS announces successful start up of initial Natural Gas Compressor Systems.

The GENERON® is synonymous with the most advanced Nitrogen Membrane Technology in the world.  Feed air compression and nitrogen booster compression have been supplied with these systems. Last year Generon® added Natural Gas Compression Systems to the product line.   

An initial order was accepted for 12 systems using 145bhp natural gas engines driving 3 stage reciprocation compressors. The system were designed and built to ASME Section VIII, Division 1, ANSI B31.3 and NEMA Class 1, Group D, Division II.

Each package was given a factory full load, full speed run test on natural gas. All 12 systems are now in the field and operating. Typical field installation and commissioning was 2 days per package.

Early in 2008, Generon's® ISO9001 certification was extended by the auditing authority DNV to cover Natural Gas Compression Systems. This reflects Generon's® continued commitment to building quality products that meet the customer's needs.
