ASME Quotation / Calculation / Designer - Job Description
Position: ASME Quotation / Calculation / Designer
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Houston
Responsibilities:
- Using information submitted (vessel data summaries, notes, drawings, etc.) to generate vessel calculations and drawings for generating proposals (quotes packages) to respond to requests for quotation and to generate Fabrication Packages (drawings, welding procedures, BOM's) for the production floor.
- Follow activity prioritization schedule and complete tasks on time.
Job Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of ASME vessel code
- Understanding of different metal ratings and nomenclatures
- Knowledge of Welding Procedures
- Experience coordinating with 3rd party "AI's"
- 2+ years experience with COMPRESS software
- Experience generating fabrication drawings for vessel fabrication
- Work alone with little supervision to meet delivery commitments
